“To mark the 30th anniversary of our adoptive children coming home to their parents from the orphanages in Vietnam, we celebrated with a reunion in Colorado. As a "going away gift", we presented each person with a reminderband in the colors of the South Vietnam flag (under which they were born 30+ years ago), bright yellow with red embossing, "Vietnam Reunion 2005." When we presented them, we told them that this circle was a reminder of the circle of life and unbroken friendship through the years from their birth to the present and in to the future.”
